About Us

Michael and Nancy Auricchio are the original founders of our organization. Michele began as a stone cutter in Italy at the turn of the 20th century. He started Auricchio Monuments in 1938, leaving an incredible legacy that is now on the 4th generation. Our family's beautiful craftsmanship can be found on headstones throughout New York, New Jersey and Connecticut cemeteries.

When old enough, both sons entered the industry and made Michael proud. Patrick continued to work for his father until Michael passed in 1960. Patrick then took over the location in Middle Village. As time wore on and he had no interested heirs he sold the name and property in the early 2000's.

In 1956 Joseph Auricchio opened his first store with the help of his father Michael. Continuing the legacy through his children and now his granddaughter Diane, Joe has made his entire life about serving those who need compassion and honesty.

Joseph, now 90, has always been dedicated to his work. Even on family vacations he often stays in his room to make sure everything stays on task. Even at his age he is still working hard and refusing to retire. A healthier and sharper 92 year old is hard to find.

Holy Family Monuments has grown and survived much over the decades but we still stand tall and are ready to hold your hand through possibly the most devastating process of your life. We understand that we offer a service that is tied directly to your heart. Your loved one's monument should reflect that

A Legacy

Joseph has built a legacy of hard work and compassion in an industry that can seem cold and heartless.

Together, he and Granddaughter Diane continue to be honored to serve your family in your effort to navigate the grief and loss you feel.

Please allow us to hold your hand and help you to memorialize your loved one in a way only 80+ years of experience can.
